Frequently Asked Questions

What is MudOut?

MudOut is a self-service dog wash station designed for muddy walks: wash, rinse and dry your dog in minutes, right where the walk ends.

Do I need to book?

No booking needed. Just turn up, tap to start, and wash at your pace (you can add time if needed).

How long does a wash take?

Most dogs are done in under 10 minutes. Bigger or fluffier coats may need a little longer.

What’s included in a session?

Warm water, wash options (shampoo / rinse / conditioner), and a dryer — all in one easy session.

Is it safe for my dog?

MudOut is designed to be dog-friendly and owner-led — you stay with your dog the whole time, with clear step-by-step instructions and simple controls.

Can I use it for fleas & ticks?

Some stations will include an anti-flea rinse option (where available). It’s a rinse-through wash option — not a substitute for vet treatment if you suspect an infestation.

What do I need to bring?

Nothing essential... just your dog (and a lead). If you like, bring your dog’s own towel for the car ride home.

How do I pay?

Quick and simple contactless payment (tap-to-pay). Pricing will be shown clearly on the station.

Are the products dog-safe?

Yes — stations use dog-safe wash options intended for routine washing. If your dog has sensitivities, do a gentle rinse first and avoid eyes/ears.

How clean is the station between dogs?

Stations are designed for hygiene with easy-clean surfaces and routine maintenance/cleaning to keep the wash area clean and pleasant.

Where are you launching first?

We’re launching in London parks (pilot locations first). Join the waitlist and we’ll notify you as soon as your nearest location goes live.

Is MudOut environmentally responsible?

Yes — installations are planned with a proper wastewater route (to foul/combined sewer, not surface water), with a compliance pathway suitable for London parks.

Want a MudOut Station at Your Location?

We partner with London parks, cafés, pet shops and high-footfall venues to install self-service dog wash stations where they make the most sense - right at the end of the walk.

We handle installation, maintenance and day-to-day operations, so you get a managed amenity that keeps dogs (and cars) cleaner.
